Time to Teach Owaisis a Lesson: Prabhakar

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP vice-president and former MLA N.V.S.S. Prabhakar on Sunday urged MIM corporators to teach a lesson to their party leadership for allegedly ignoring the welfare of poor Muslims for selfish political gains.

Prabhakar alleged that the AIMIM had been controlled by one family for the past 50 years — first by Owaisi’s grandfather, then his father and now by the brothers Asaduddin and Akbaruddin. He averred that poor Muslims continue to fall victim to AIMIM’s politics due to high illiteracy and unemployment, he said at press conference.
