Tiger Seen Near Sathmori Village; Forest Officials Track Movement
It is believed that the tiger entered Sirikonda mandal after crossing National Highway 44 from the Neredigonda area two days ago: Reports

ADILABAD: A tiger was spotted on the outskirts of Sathmori village in Sirikonda mandal of Adilabad district in the early hours of Wednesday, causing panic among villagers after it was seen moving near agricultural fields.
According to reports, a farmer, Mesram Bojju, noticed the tiger near his field and later found that it had killed his calf. He immediately alerted the forest department staff.
Forest officials and animal trackers have since begun monitoring the tiger’s movement. Preliminary reports suggest that the tiger may have moved towards the Pembe Forest Range.
It is believed that the tiger entered Sirikonda mandal after crossing National Highway 44 from the Neredigonda area two days ago. The animal reportedly passed through the Thandra Forest Range before entering the Pembe Range.
Members of HyTICOS (Hyderabad Tiger Conservation Society) have joined the tracking efforts and are setting up camera traps to monitor the tiger’s path.
Sirichalma forest range officer Nagawath Swamy and section officer Chandra Reddy are closely monitoring the situation and conducting awareness programmes to alert and educate villagers about the tiger’s presence and safety measures.
