Thudum Debba Meet at Jodeghat Fetes Komaram Bheem

Adilabad: The state-level meeting of Thudum Debba (Adivasi Hakkula Porata Samiti), a prominent Adivasi rights organisation, is underway at Jodeghat in Kerameri mandal. The three-day meet, which began on April 12, concludes on Sunday.

On the final day, leaders and participants paid rich tributes to Adivasi icon Komaram Bheem by garlanding his statue and recalling his historic fight for tribal rights and self-rule. The venue, Jodeghat, holds symbolic significance as the site associated with Bheem’s struggle.

The meeting saw active participation from Thudum Debba state and district leaders, as well as representatives from its affiliated organisations. Discussions focused on critical issues concerning Adivasi rights, land protection, and self-governance.

State convener Bursa Pochaiah and co-conveners Godam Ganesh, Sidda Boina Laxmi Narayana, Kotnaik Vijay, Alam Kishore, Chanda Raghupathirao, Agaboina Ravi, Kunja Narayana, Podam Bapu, and Esam Narasimharao were among the key tribal leaders who addressed the gathering.
