Three arrested for illegal sale of steroids

Hyderabad:In a joint operation, the commissioner's task force (south west) and Humayunnagar Police arrested three persons for illegally procuring and selling steroids and supplements used by bodybuilders. Over 20 different steroids, muscle and hormonal growth supplements worth Rs 1.80 lakh were seized from their possession.
The arrested are main supplier Mohd Nazeer, 47, stores in-charge R. Sanjeev, 28, and another supplier Imran Khan, 40, said additional DCP Ande Srinivasa Rao.
"We seized two boxes of R6 pure growth hormone releasing peptide, 5 mg containing 10 vial each Igro pure growth hormone releasing peptide 5 mg, two boxes with 10 vials each of 176-191 growth hormone releasing peptide, 10 vials each of 2 mg Soma Pure, Tropin growth hormones. In all, `1.80 lakh," Srinivasa Rao said.
Nazeer confessed that he, along with Sanjeev and Imran, were selling the steroids to clients at inflated rates without a valid license or doctor's prescription.
The accused have been handed over to Humayunnagar Police for further investigation. Cases were filed under under sections 318(4) and 278 of the BNS.
Woman assaulted on rail track
Hyderabad:Medchal Police filed a case on Monday after a 19-year-old woman alleged she was molested by an unidentified man on the railway track near Gowdavalli Station. Secunderabad Government Railway Police took over the investigation after it was found that the incident occured under its limits.
Medchal inspector A. Satyanarayana said, “The victim is a girl from Assam. She resided in Medchal temporarily and worked as a daily labourer. She was in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend. The incident purportedly took place when she left the house and was heading towards the Gowdavalli Station. After the accused misbehaved and demanded sexual favours, the girl hit him with a stone and escaped.”
A source said the victim was about to die by suicide when the incident took place.
CRPF personnel’s land grabbed
Hyderabad:A CRPF personnel posted in Kashmir filed a complaint with Gachibowli Police on Monday, saying land he purchased in Gopanapalli in 2016 was illegally grabbed. The accused land grabber, identified as Shyam Babu, is allegedly backed by a BJP corporator. The CRPF personnel said the land was taken over by Shyam Babu when he left for duty in Kashmir in 2018.
