Teachers posted in administrative wings asked to return to parent institutions
Hyderabad: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) has cancelled deputations of teaching staff working in its head office and administrative wings to address faculty shortages in schools.
The decision was taken following directions from welfare minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, with secretary (FAC) Sharada issuing orders on Thursday directing around 16 teachers to return to their parent institutions. The move is aimed at ensuring availability of qualified teachers in classrooms, particularly with examinations approaching and academic schedules intensifying.
Officials said the decision follows concerns over shortage of teaching staff in Gurukul institutions, which has affected classroom instruction and student learning outcomes.
