TGSRTC Workers Threaten to Go on Strike
The JAC members said they are going to meet political leaders as well.

Hyderabad: Representatives of TGSRTC employees' unions will meet the labour commissioner on Thursday to take forward the 21 demands which they kept before the department of labour on January 27.
The union said they are unsure about their future following Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's announcement last November that diesel buses will be replaced by 3,000 electric buses.
On Tuesday, the union members said they are ready to go on strike from February 9 (Sunday), which will be 15 days since they made their demands clear to the senior officials.
The JAC members said they are going to meet political leaders as well.
According to reports, women travellers' share in public buses went up by 65 per cent after implementation of the Mahalakshmi scheme, with approximately 58.13 lakh riders daily. Experts warned against the proposed strike.
