The programme aims at redressal of grievances on the spot
Hyderabad:Southern discom chairman and managing director Jitesh V. Patil, launched ‘Basti Baata’, an outreach programme, at Begumpet on Thursday, and directed officials to resolve consumer grievances on the spot.
Patil interacted with local consumers, listened to their electricity-related issues, including supply interruptions, low voltage and transformer problems and ordered immediate remedial action.
The CMD inspected ongoing work on the power infrastructure and directed director (O&M) N. Narsimhulu to ensure that every section office was well wquipped.
TGSPDCL officials said the Basti Baata was being held on Thursday across all 21 circles. Through these drives, teams visit neighborhoods to examine issues such as power supply reliability, low voltage, transformer faults, tree trimming near lines, electrical safety, new connections and maintenance works, resolving many complaints at the field level itself.
