TGSPDCL CMD Urges Prompt Response to Consumer Power Grievances

Hyderabad: As part of the statewide monsoon preparedness initiative, “Poles and Lines Special Drive – Walk Along the Line”, TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil participated in field-level inspections on the second day of the programme at Anand Nagar Colony under Khairatabad Circle.

During the inspection, which continued from 9.30 am to 11 am, the CMD carried out a line-to-line survey of the power distribution network and comprehensively reviewed the condition of electrical lines, poles, distribution transformers, jumpers, service connections, and other electrical infrastructure.

He asked officials to immediately address identified network deficiencies, pending rectification works, line clearance issues, damaged electric poles, and other factors affecting the quality and reliability of power supply.

The CMD instructed field staff to remain accessible to consumers at all times and respond promptly to consumer grievances. He also emphasized strict adherence to the prescribed dress code and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), line tools, and other safety equipment while carrying out field operations.

To minimize power interruptions during the monsoon season, he directed officials to expedite maintenance works on feeders, distribution transformers, and LT and HT networks. He further instructed them to effectively implement tree-pruning, line clearance, and preventive maintenance measures to ensure uninterrupted and reliable power supply.

The CMD advised all officers to continuously monitor their respective network areas and take preventive measures before issues arise, thereby ensuring quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
