TGSPDCL CMD Urges Prompt Resolution of Consumer Issues
The CMD directed power department officials to coordinate closely with other departments and take all necessary preventive measures to avoid any untoward incidents
Hyderabad: TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil on Tuesday participated in the Praja Bata Programme conducted along the MLA Camp Office route under Kukatpally Section, Medchal Circle, and interacted with consumers to understand their concerns and requirements.
Speaking on the occasion, the CMD stated that the primary objective of the Praja Bata Programme is to reach out to consumers, understand their problems firsthand, and take prompt measures for their resolution. He advised officials and employees to remain accessible to consumers at all times and focus on the timely resolution of electricity-related issues.
In view of the ongoing Ganesh festivities and the upcoming immersion processions, the CMD directed power department officials to coordinate closely with other departments and take all necessary preventive measures to avoid any untoward incidents. He emphasized strict adherence to electrical safety standards at Ganesh pandals and immersion points and instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the festival period.
As part of the Praja Bata Programme, the CMD reviewed the maintenance of the power distribution network and directed officials to implement the “Walk Along the Line” programme more effectively. He stressed the importance of removing tree branches obstructing power lines, maintaining cleanliness around Distribution Transformers (DTRs), and protecting power infrastructure assets. He stated that safeguarding government assets is the responsibility of every employee.
Later, the CMD visited the IDL Lake (Baby Pond) Ganesh immersion centre in Balaji Nagar under Cyber City Circle and inspected the electrical infrastructure and safety arrangements made at the site.
He reviewed the preparedness of power supply arrangements for the immersion programme and assessed whether all required electrical facilities had been completed.
The CMD instructed officials to accord the highest priority to public safety while ensuring uninterrupted power supply at the immersion centres. He also directed them to maintain close coordination with all concerned departments to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the immersion programme.
