TGRTC Trade Union Elections to be Held
The recognition election is aimed at enabling employees to elect a representative union for collective bargaining and welfare-related issues.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC) will conduct long-pending trade union elections, with the labour department appointing Sunitha Gopaldas as returning officer.
The elections are being held to determine the representative trade union of TGSRTC employees in accordance with prescribed procedures for recognition in public sector undertakings.
As returning officer, Gopaldas will supervise the entire process, including scrutiny of nominations, preparation of voter lists, polling arrangements, counting of votes and declaration of results, while ensuring a free, fair and transparent election.
The labour department said necessary arrangements are being made in coordination with TGSRTC management and trade union representatives for smooth conduct of the polls. The detailed schedule, polling stations and eligibility criteria will be notified separately.
