TGPSC Announces Monthly Job Notifications, Shift to Computer-Based Exams

Chairman Burra Venkatesham says 2–3 notifications every month; major exam reforms planned

Hyderabad: In a major relief for job aspirants, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced that it will issue 2 to 3 job notifications every month.

TSPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham said that three notifications will be released on Tuesday and that the Commission plans to issue 5 to 6 notifications during the current month. He noted that several posts currently have very few vacancies, with around 28 categories having just one vacancy each and 25 categories having fewer than five vacancies.

The Chairman also announced key reforms in the examination process, stating that TSPSC is planning to conduct recruitment tests through a computer-based format. He explained that the existing OMR-based system is complex, whereas computer-based exams allow question papers to be generated even an hour before the test.

He added that candidates will be able to know their marks immediately after the examination, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Venkatesham advised aspirants to prepare for computer-based tests, as most future examinations are likely to be conducted in this format. He emphasized that several reforms are being introduced to improve the overall examination system.
