TGNPDCL Implements Comprehensive Digital Dashboard System

The dashboard platform enables real-time monitoring of key performance indicators across various wings including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Projects, MRT, Purchase and Materials Management (P&MM), and Consumer Care Center

Hyderabad: To enhance efficiency, transparency, and operational excellence in power distribution, TGNPDCL has implemented a comprehensive Digital Dashboard System based on an advanced Operational Intelligence and Performance Monitoring System, said TGNPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Karnati Varun Reddy.

To facilitate continuous monitoring of organizational performance and enable informed, data-driven decision-making, TGNPDCL has introduced wing-wise digital dashboards. Through this state-of-the-art command interface, daily operational activities across all Circles, Divisions, and Sections of the utility will be available in real time to senior management and other stakeholders.

The integrated dashboard platform enables real-time monitoring of key performance indicators across various wings including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Projects, MRT, Purchase and Materials Management (P&MM), and Consumer Care Center.

The key features of the wing-wise dashboards include P&MM. The dashboard provides comprehensive visibility into material inventories, stock positions, and consumption patterns across the organization. It includes stock sufficiency alerts that provide advance warnings of potential shortages one to three months ahead, enabling proactive inventory management and uninterrupted operations.

A unified interface will offer insights into employee and artisan details, payroll expenditure, retirement schedules, medical claims, and legal case management, enabling efficient workforce administration and oversight.

The dashboard helps strengthen consumer service delivery by monitoring the performance of the 1912 Call Center and analyzing pending consumer complaints across circles, thereby facilitating faster complaint resolution and improved customer satisfaction.

The project's wing will provide end-to-end visibility into new substation construction, civil works, contractor performance, project milestones, and financial utilization, ensuring effective project monitoring and timely execution.

It will track transformer failures, analyzes root causes, identifies repeated failure locations, and supports preventive maintenance planning. The system also assists in monitoring power theft detection activities and enhancing network reliability.

The finance wing offers comprehensive information on demand and collection performance, OCR billing percentages, pending work orders, and progress of common service inspections, supporting improved financial management and revenue monitoring.

The MRT wing facilitates monitoring of power transformer inspections, protection equipment inspections, complaint status, and achievement of inspection targets, thereby strengthening asset management and system reliability.

The CMD stated that the Digital Dashboard System will enable early identification of operational issues through data analytics, support faster decision-making, improve field-level performance, optimize resource utilization, and enhance the quality of services provided to consumers.

He further emphasized that effective utilization of technology and data-driven governance will play a pivotal role in transforming TGNPDCL into one of the country's leading power distribution utilities.
