Hyderabad: Hyderabad will host cybersecurity conclave 'SHIELD-2025' from February 18 to 19 during which closed-door sessions for law enforcement agencies will be held, focusing on tackling emerging cybercrimes, like mule-hunting, ransomware, phishing, and other financial scams.
The event is being jointly organised by the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and the Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).
During the event's curtain raiser at the Integrated Command Control Center on Monday, director of TGCSB Shikha Goel described SHIELD-2025 as "a call to action for stakeholders to unite in building a secure digital future". Police commissioner, Cyberabad, Avinash Mohanty stressed on the need for collaboration between technology, governance, and society to combat evolving cyber threats. The two-day conclave will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
Other than law enforcement agencies, participation from senior academicians, government policymakers and global technology leaders is expected.
Keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops will cover topics like artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital forensics, ransomware, cryptocurrency, deep fakes, and cyber resilience for MSMEs. Cutting-edge technology to address cybercrime will also be presented.
