TGBIE: Science Practical Exam Marks Allocation Changed

Mathematics students will now have Activity-Based Learning (ABL) internal assessment carrying 15 marks each in first and second year. Theory papers for Maths-A and Maths-B will be conducted for 60 marks instead of 75

Science practical exams, which earlier had 30 marks in the second year, will now have 15 marks each in first and second year for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Theory examinations in these subjects will continue for 60 marks.

Mathematics students will now have Activity-Based Learning (ABL) internal assessment carrying 15 marks each in first and second year. Theory papers for Maths-A and Maths-B will be conducted for 60 marks instead of 75.

Humanities subjects, including Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography and Public Administration, will change to an 80-mark theory paper. 20 marks will be allotted for ABL internal assessment.

Similar changes have been made for Languages and Modern Languages. ACE group consisting of Accountancy, Commerce and Economics introduced.

MEC Mathematics theory exam will be for 80 marks, and an additional 20 marks of internal assessment.
