TG SAFE ordered 11 Hyderabad restaurants to stop operations after inspections found poor hygiene conditions and officials collected 21 food samples.
TG SAFE ordered 11 restaurants in Hitec City, Madhapur and Gachibowli to stop operations due to poor hygiene conditions. The officials passed the orders after inspecting 20 food establishments. Officials also collected 21 food samples on suspicion of adulteration.
FSSAI licences were suspended and operations stopped at Monastery, Coal Spark Multi Cuisine Restaurant and Kanchi Cafe, Hitec City; Udupi’s Upahar. Shivani The Restaurant & Bar and Al Saba Restaurant, Antera Kitchen & Bar, all at Gachibowli; and Lucky Multicuisine Restaurant and Sai Ram Mess in Madhapur and Am Aha Telugu Kitchen & Bar and Fusion 9/Amnesia Sky Bar, both located in Inorbit Mall, Madhapur.
Show-cause notices were issued to 63 Degrees Modern Regional Buffet, Gachibowli; Minerva Grand, Hitec City Road, Kondapur; and Hotel Avasa, Hitec City.
Improvement notices were issued to Rameshwaram Cafe, Madhapur; Ishtaa, Gachibowli; Sahibs Barbeque and Pakka Local, Hitec City; and Hotel Shadab and Shah Ghouse Hotel & Restaurant, Gachibowli. The action followed inspections across some of the city’s major restaurant and commercial areas.
