Govt makes preparations for Inter exams
TGBIE secretary Krishna Aditya stated that 9,96,971 students would appear for the exams across 1,532 centres statewide.

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari directed officials to strengthen security and ensure seamless arrangements for the Intermediate Public Examinations, scheduled between March 5 and 25, during a video conference on Friday.
She emphasised tight security measures for transporting question papers from strong rooms to police stations and exam centres. Section 144 will be imposed around all centres to prevent gatherings and students and exam staff will not be allowed to carry electronic gadgets inside exam halls.
To curb malpractice, the Chief Secretary ordered the temporary closure of photocopy centres near exam venues. She instructed the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) to ensure timely transportation for students and directed medical officials to provide oral rehydration solutions (ORS) at exam centres. She also stressed the need to arrange scribes for visually impaired and disabled students.
TGBIE secretary Krishna Aditya stated that 9,96,971 students would appear for the exams across 1,532 centres statewide. The exams will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon. To oversee the process, 1,532 chief superintendents, 1,532 departmental officers, 29,992 invigilators, 75 flying squads and 100 sitting squads have been assigned duties.
Additionally, district examination committees and high-power committees have been set up to ensure the smooth conduct of exams. Following the Chief Secretary’s directives, district collectors provided updates on measures taken in their districts to ensure fair examinations.
The meeting was attended by TGBIE secretary S. Krishna Aditya, district collectors, superintendents of police and other board officials.
