Adilabad district earned a gold medal, with Narnoor block ranking first among 500 aspirational blocks nationwide.
ADILABAD: Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad districts, and the ITDA Utnoor have emerged as top performers in NITI Aayog’s rankings of aspirational districts and blocks across the country.
Collectors Rajarshi Shah (Adilabad), Venkatesh Dhotre (Mancherial), Abhilasha Abhinav, and ITDA project officer Khushboo Gupta were awarded certificates of appreciation and medals by Governor Jishnu Dev Varma for their outstanding performance at the Sampoorna Abhiyan Samman Samaroh held in Hyderabad on August 2.
Adilabad district earned a gold medal, with Narnoor block ranking first among 500 aspirational blocks nationwide. Pembi block secured fifth place and received a bronze medal, while Komaram Bheem Asifabad district secured fourth place for Tiryani block in the aspirational block category.
The ITDA, Utnoor, was recognised for its exemplary implementation of welfare schemes in the state.
