Tesseract Aerospace: KTR Demands Central Probe Into Revanth Brother's Firm

HYDERABAD: The BRS on Thursday accused the Congress of engineering the suspension of its MLAs from the ongoing Assembly session to stop them from exposing Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s involvement in the case of valuable land allotted to his brother A. Kondal Reddy.
BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao told reporters that the BRS demanded a probe into the land allotment to Tesseract, a company owned by Kondal Reddy, which he said had Rs 1 lakh as capital and for which land worth Rs 200 crore was given for Rs 7 crore.
Rama Rao was speaking after visiting the land allotted to Tesseract Advanced Systems in Bharat Future City. Rama Rao, who was accompanied by former ministers P. Sabitha Indra Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav and several MLAs and leaders, said the Congress government, under the guise of promoting investments, was gifting favours to members of Revanth Reddy’s family.
He said Kondal Reddy’s Tesseract first entered into an agreement with an Israeli company before receiving the five acres of land in Future City. Alleging copycat moves after seeing the profitability of launching an aerospace company, revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy too launched an aerospace and defence company, Rama Rao said.
Rama Rao demanded that the BJP, instead of being a mute spectator to such goings on, should ensure probes by the Enforcement Directorate, income-tax department and the CBI into these deals.
