Tension grips Shahinayathgunj as meat pieces found at religious place

Hyderabad: Tension gripped Shahinayathgunj on Thursday when unidentified persons kept meat pieces at a place of worship.
On coming to know about the incident, a large number of people rushed to the spot and raised slogans against the police for failing to tackle these incidents that were happening frequently in twin cities. Following information, the local police rushed to the spot and pacified the people assuring that necessary action would be taken against those responsible for it.
Devotees criticized the people for failing to prevent these incidents. When a group of devotees tried to stage a protest, the police prevented them saying that it would create unnecessary problems in the locality. Additional police forces were deployed to prevent any untoward incident.
On their part, the police are examining the footage collected from surveillance cameras to identify the people who were behind the incident.
