Producers are informed to follow the guidance of chamber strictly and avoid independent action or separate arrangements with unions until resolution.

Hyderabad: With Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation issuing at ultimatum that cine workers would go on strike from August 4, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has sent out a letter to producers.
The federation is unilaterally demanding 30% wages hike. We have already being paying much higher than existing minimum wages as per the act to both skilled and unskilled workers. This disruption will cause heavy damages to films in production.
It further condemns this action taken by Federation as we worked together for decades. It also says that chamber is in talks with relevant authorities to secure a sustainable solution.
Producers are informed to follow the guidance of chamber strictly and avoid independent action or separate arrangements with unions until resolution.
Let us stand together for lasting reform and for better future. Further updates will allow, said the statement signed by K L Damodar Prasad, Hon Secretary of Telugu film chamber of commerce.
