Telangana: Youth attempts suicide on railway track

Jagadish of Bheemgal mandal drove his motorbike on the railway track and tried to hit the Shirdi-Tirupati train coming from Basar. Vehicle riders who stopped near Daryapur railway gate noticed Jagadish moving on the railway track.

The railway gate keeper also noticed him and immediately switched off the signals. As a result, the co-pilot halted the train. Meanwhile, railway gate keeper, passersby rushed on the spot and caught Jagadish. After the motorbike was set aside, the train moved to Nizamabad. Railway police took Jagadish into custody.

Jagadish told police that he decided to end life on the railway track due to his wife’s attitude. He alleged that she developed an extra marital relationship with a policeman of Bheemgal police station and did not change her attitude after repeated counselling. Nizamabad railway police registered a case and are investigating the case.
