ADILABAD: Youth and students took out a peaceful rally in Nirmal town on Friday protesting the brutal crackdown on the students agitating against the NEET paper leak and demanding the resignation of the union minister of education Dharmendra Pradhan, at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The students and youth displayed placards and banners which read ‘India belongs to Youth but not to Corrupt Politicians.’
The students and youth staged a brief protest at Ambedkar Chowk and raised slogans against Pradhan and demanded the resignation of the minister taking responsibility for the NEET question paper leaks and subsequent student suicides.
On the other hand, Telangana Youth Congress state general secretary Almas Khan of Nirmal strongly condemned the brutal crackdown on students and added that the BJP-led Centre answers with force when the Youth Congress raises questions. He said students may be silenced temporarily, but their questions can’t be detained.
