Telangana: Woman Held for Killing Live-In Partner
The accused, identified as Madikanti Lavanya, a native of Raghavapuram village in Chithalapudi mandal of Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, had been living with Kona Ravi Prasad at an apartment in Nethaji Nagar, Khammam, for the past five months.

Nalgonda: Khanapuram Haveli police on Monday arrested a 35-year-old woman for allegedly murdering her live-in partner in Sathupally, Khammam district.
The accused, identified as Madikanti Lavanya, a native of Raghavapuram village in Chithalapudi mandal of Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, had been living with Kona Ravi Prasad at an apartment in Nethaji Nagar, Khammam, for the past five months.
According to police, the incident occurred on April 6 following a drunken altercation between the couple. Later that night, while Ravi Prasad was asleep in an inebriated state, Lavanya reportedly strangled him to death with a rope and fled the scene. Based on credible information, police traced and apprehended Lavanya from a location in Khammam. Further investigation is underway.
