Telangana: Two Members Of A Family Die In Road Accident; Another One Seriously Injured

NALGONDA: Two members of a family died and another was seriously injured in a road accident at Dindi in Nalgonda district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as P. Nagaraju, 32, and his sister L. Chandrakala, 22, both residents of Rayavaram in Nagarkurnool district. Chandrakala’s husband, L. Srikanth, was seriously injured in the accident.
According to police, the accident occurred around noon when a car hit the motorcycle on which the three were travelling. The car reportedly hit the motorcycle while overtaking a lorry.
The family members were travelling to their native place to attend the final rites of a relative who had died on Sunday. Nagaraju was riding the motorcycle.
Nagaraju died on the spot, while Chandrakala died while being shifted to hospital. Srikanth was shifted to the Area Hospital in Devarakonda and his condition was said to be serious.
Dindi police registered a case and took up an investigation.
