Telangana Tourism To Host Mango Pickle Workshop With VahChef On May 16
The workshop, scheduled from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, will be conducted by noted culinary expert Sanjay Thumma, popularly known as VahChef.
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation has invited registrations for a special Mango Pickle Making Workshop to be held at The Plaza, Begumpet, on May 16.
According to a release, the workshop, scheduled from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, will be conducted by noted culinary expert Sanjay Thumma, popularly known as VahChef.
Tourism department officials said the programme aims to promote Telangana’s traditional culinary heritage by teaching participants authentic mango pickle preparation techniques, including spice combinations and preservation methods.
Participants will receive hands-on training in preparing homemade mango pickle and will also be allowed to take home the pickle prepared during the session along with recipe notes. All materials and ingredients required for the workshop will be provided by the organisers.
The department said the workshop is open to homemakers, food lovers, tourists and cooking enthusiasts interested in exploring traditional Telugu flavours.
Officials added that seats are limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
