Telangana Tourism Rolls Out Friday Pilgrimage, Eco Tour
The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) said the tour will operate on Fridays, covering Chilkur Balaji Temple, Experium Eco Park and Kothwalguda Eco Tourism Park.
Hyderabad:Telangana Tourism has introduced a one-day weekly package from the city combining a visit to Chilkur Balaji Temple with two eco parks, with the service beginning on August 7.
The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) said the tour will operate on Fridays, covering Chilkur Balaji Temple, Experium Eco Park and Kothwalguda Eco Tourism Park. The package costs ₹2,100 for adults and ₹1,800 for children, including travel, meals and entry tickets.
The day begins at 7 am from Yatrinivas in Secunderabad, with additional boarding points at Paryatak Bhavan, Begumpet, at 7.15 am and the Central Reservation Office (CRO), Basheerbagh, at 7.30 am. Breakfast is scheduled at Taramati Baradari at 8 am, followed by darshan at Chilkur Balaji Temple at 9 am.
Visitors will reach Experium Eco Park at 11.30 am, followed by a vegetarian lunch at 2 pm. The tour then moves to Kothwalguda Eco Tourism Park at 3.30 pm, with hi-tea at 5.30 pm. The vehicle is scheduled to return to Basheerbagh by 7 pm.
TGTDC said the package will use an air-conditioned mini vehicle. The fare covers two-way transport, breakfast, vegetarian lunch, hi-tea, entry tickets to both eco parks, toll and parking charges and a tour guide. Bookings can be made through Telangana Tourism booking offices or its online portal.
