Adilabad: Endowments minister Konda Surekha on Saturday announced that the state government will soon implement the Basar Temple Master Plan to develop the shrine on par with the Yadadri Temple. She accused the previous BRS administration of neglecting temple development during its ten-year tenure.

Surekha also outlined plans to organise the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara and the Krishna and Godavari Pushkaralu on a grand scale, including appointing a regular executive officer and additional staff for the Basar Temple.

Minister Vivek stated that the government is preparing proposals to secure jobs and guarantee minimum wages for workers. He affirmed the state’s commitment to quality education, highlighting the Young India Integrated Residential Schools initiative and the recent recruitment of 10,000 government teachers to raise educational standards.

Nirmal collector Abhilasha Abhinav noted that the master plan would introduce several changes at the Basar Temple, aligned with Vastu principles, to improve devotees’ convenience. Venugopal Chary, additional collectors Faiz Ahmed and Kishore Kumar, RDO Rathin Kalyani, and other officials were present.
