Massive rural infra push as Telangana takes up over 1 lakh works under Panula Jathara 2025 worth ₹2,198 cr

Hyderabad: The Panchayat Raj Department will launch Panula Jathara 2025 from tomorrow, taking up 1,01,589 development works across state at a total cost of ₹2,198.83 crore.
The programme will cover a wide range of rural works, including the construction of Anganwadi and Gram Panchayat buildings, school toilets, cattle, goat and poultry sheds, farm ponds, open wells, nurseries, plantations, water harvesting ponds, CC roads, fish ponds, and check dams.
Ministers, MPs and MLAs have been invited to participate in this large-scale initiative, which is being positioned as a people’s movement for rural development.
