Telangana: Teacher Served Show Cause Notice for Attending School Drunk

Bhadradri-Kothagudem: A show cause notice was served on a teacher for attending school in a drunken state at the Government Primary School in Rajivnagar Colony in Thimmapet village of Mulakalapally mandal in the district on Saturday. A high-ranking official from the education department issued the notice to the erring teacher.
Teacher Pathipati Veeraiah was unable to stand properly on his feet. Students and villagers took him to a cattleshed near the school and made him sleep there. After a while, the teacher came to his senses seeing no one around, escaped from the spot in the afternoon. Upon receiving information, mandal education officer Sri Rammurthy issued notice to the teacher.
