Telangana: Revanth Worse Than A Broker, Follows BJP Govt Diktats: KTR
“Revanth Reddy has signed a death warrant for Telangana farmers through his crop procurement policy”: Rama Rao

HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Monday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of “being worse” than a broker of the BJP government at the Centre and in doing so, “is threatening the very livelihoods of farmers.”
Rama Rao, who addressed BRS leaders and workers in Wardhannapet and Parkal constituencies, said “Revanth Reddy has signed a death warrant for Telangana farmers through his crop procurement policy.”
When he was in the Opposition, Rama Rao claimed, Revanth Reddy had alleged that the then BRS government was “acting as a broker for Prime Minister Narendra Modi whenever it followed the Centre's directives. Today, he is doing even worse by saying that the Congress government’s crop procurement will be limited to the offtake by the Centre.”
“Every section of society has been deceived by the Congress government. Everyone must question Congress leaders what schemes were introduced, and hold them accountable for not ensuring any development in the last two-and-a-half years,” he said.
Rama Rao said the plight of farmers reflects Revanth Reddy’s and the Congress government’s attitude towards people. This government failed to ensure fertilizer and seed supplies. There are power cuts everywhere, there are delays in Rythu Bharosa implementation.
Rama Rao also acknowledged that some mistakes were made while the BRS was in power and it will now do better in supporting its cadre. “I take responsibility for the development and welfare of our party workers,” he said.
