Telangana Prepares Action Plan to Tackle Emergencies
The decisions were taken in the meeting conducted by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to review the law and order situation in the state at Secretariat on Friday.

Hyderabad:The state government has prepared a comprehensive action plan to face any eventuality against the backdrop of action against Pakistan-based terror. The government instructed officials to monitor social media to curb false propaganda about sensitive issues. It said strict action should be taken against those who spread false propaganda.
The government issued instructions to Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao to organise solidarity rallies in all district headquarters. The government believed that the solidarity rally organised here on Thursday under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had sent good signal to society.
The government asked officials to alert the people 24 hours in advance before conducting drills, cancel leaves in emergency departments, hold a meeting with media heads with regard to news campaigns. Police were advised to prepare an action plan to deal with developing situations.

Ramakrishna Rao said that the civil defence drill was conducted as per the Centre’s orders. Strict security has been set up at the industries related to the manufacturing of defence equipment. He said that all the staff were made participants in the mock drill.
All arrangements have been made in advance to deal with any emergency situation arising in the state and surveillance has been increased across the state on the movements of suspicious persons, the DGP said.
The police have set up a control room in Hyderabad to assess and monitor the situation from time to time. Surveillance on the movements of those who have been released after serving jail terms in the past has been increased, he said.
Ministers Jupalli Krishna Rao and Ponnam Prabhakar, CMO special chief secretary Jayesh Ranjan, DG Intelligence Shivdhar Reddy, police commissioners C.V. Anand, Avinash Mohanty and G. Sudheer Babu in the meeting.
