Telangana Plans to Make 1 Crore Women Millionaires Under IMS Sop
He announced that a total of 23 such fertiliser shops would be opened across the district under the management of women’s groups.

Karimnagar: The state government is committed to making one crore women millionaires under the Indira Mahila Shakti (IMS) Scheme, said Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas.
Accompanied by district collector Sandeep Kumar Jha, MLA Aadi Srinivas inaugurated a new fertilizer and seed shop sanctioned under the IMS scheme for a women’s Self-Help Group (SHG) at Bollaram village in Rajanna Sircilla district on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA encouraged women to utilise this business opportunity to achieve financial success. Under the scheme, the government has provided women’s groups in the district with opportunities to run canteens, dairy units, poultry farms, RTC buses, and even petrol stations. In the coming days, the government also plans to give them the chance to operate rice mills and solar plants.
He announced that a total of 23 such fertiliser shops would be opened across the district under the management of women’s groups. He urged the women to run these businesses with proper planning to ensure farmers have access to quality seeds, fertilisers, and pesticides. He also appealed to farmers to support the women by purchasing their products.
