Telangana man gets 20-yr RI for raping minor
The XIII Additional District Judge, Rangareddy District Court on Monday convicted and sentenced T. Srinivas, 21, to rigorous imprisonment for 20 years for raping a minor girl in 2017.

Hyderabad: The XIII Additional District Judge, Rangareddy District Court on Monday convicted and sentenced T. Srinivas, 21, to rigorous imprisonment for 20 years for raping a minor girl in 2017. The court also awarded Rs 3 lakh compensation to the victim and imposed a Rs 5,000 fine on the convict.
The case was investigated by the Kandukur police.
According to police, Srinivas lured the girl with false promises of marriage and sexually assaulted her multiple times. When she later confronted him about marriage, he turned her down. The victim’s parents lodged a complaint with Kandukur police, leading to his arrest for rape and cheating.
