29-year-old mechanical engineer from Nizamabad allegedly died in an accident; acquaintances buried body fearing legal trouble

Nizamabad: A 29-year-old man from Nizamabad district was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kuwait, with his body allegedly buried in the desert by acquaintances attempting to cover up the incident.
The deceased, identified as Kailash from Koratpalli thanda in Dichpally mandal, Nizamabad had travelled to Kuwait for employment and was working as a mechanical engineer in Al Salmi. According to police, he had recently come into contact with a father and son duo from the same region who were also residing there.
On March 19 this year, the duo reportedly took Kailash to a desert location to repair a malfunctioning excavator. During the repair work, he is believed to have suffered a fatal accident. Fearing legal consequences, the accused allegedly buried his body in the Salmi desert and fled the scene.
Following Kailash’s sudden disappearance, his relatives in Kuwait lodged a missing complaint. However, the investigation was delayed due to prevailing tensions in the region at the time. Recently, police traced clues through CCTV footage and detained one suspect, bringing the incident to light.
Sources said one of the accused, identified as Ganesh, had returned to his native village in Nizamabad without raising suspicion. After learning the details, Kailash’s family approached Dichpally police seeking justice. A complaint has been registered, and efforts are underway to trace the absconding accused.
