Telangana Launches Indiramma Sewing Machine Scheme for Women

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has launched “Intintiki Indiramma Kuttu Machine Pathakam” with an objective of providing self-employment opportunities to poor women.
The scheme is being implemented through the Telangana BC Finance Corporation, under the BC Welfare Department and the age limit to avail the scheme is 18 to 55 years and the documents are Aadhaar card, ration card or income certificate or caste certificate.
The annual income limit in rural areas should be Rs.1.50 lakh while Rs.2 lakh in urban areas. Eligible applicants have to apply online through the TGOBMMS portal: http://tgobmms.cgg.gov.in
The last date for submission of applications is September 15. Applicants are advised to contact the District BC Welfare Officer concerned or BC Corporation for further details.
