Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has launched a breakfast scheme for students studying in government schools, aimed at improving nutrition and school attendance.
The scheme was formally launched by Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at Lok Bhavan School in Hyderabad.
Officials said the initiative is intended to ensure that students receive a nutritious morning meal before starting classes, helping improve concentration and overall health. The government plans to implement the programme across all government schools in a phased manner.
