Telangana Intermediate Board Launches Free Counseling via Tele-Manas

Hyderabad:The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced that its students can avail of free psychological counselling and mental health support through the Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across the States (Tele-Manas) initiative. This service, offered by the health ministry, is available throughout the year, with a special focus during the annual and advance supplementary examinations and after the announcement of public exam results.
Students dealing with exam fear, stress or any psychological challenges during their Intermediate studies are encouraged to seek support through Tele-Manas. They can access round the clock tele-counseling and psycho-social support provided by psychologists and psychiatrists by calling the toll-free numbers.
Additionally, District Mental Health Clinics have been set up in government hospitals across all districts, offering free personal consultations with psychiatrists.
