HYDERABAD: The Telangana Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) organised an ‘eco champions hackathon’ for students, innovators, and environmental enthusiasts to share ideas for reducing plastic waste. The event gave participants a chance to showcase eco-friendly alternatives such as biodegradable products, reusable materials, and improved waste management techniques. It also helped identify the solutions that can be adopted to replace single use plastic items.

Innovators demonstrated smart technologies including AI tools to detect and reduce plastic pollution in rivers, magnetic methods to remove microplastics from water, and robotics for managing reusable plastics, a statement said. Telangana Intermediate Education Dept Appoints 61 'AI Champions' For Digital Initiatives

HYDERABAD: The Intermediate education department has appointed 61 ‘AI champions’, from teaching and non-teaching staff, to smoothly ground its digital initiatives, including human resources management applications, in government junior colleges.

Apart from acting as district coordinators, the ‘AI champions’ should guide and support district-level staff in the use of newly launched or updated systems and applications, a statement said.

Kishan Reddy To Distribute 51,000+ Rozgar Mela Appointment Letters In Hyderabad Tomorrow

HYDERABAD: Union minister G. Kishan Reddy will hand over appointment letters to candidates under the Centre’s ‘Rozgar Mela’ here on July 12, at 10 am at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda. At the national level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters through video conferencing.
The mela is part of the Prime Minister’s plan to give importance to job creation. So far, more than 10 lakh appointment letters have been given through these job fairs across India.
Saturday’s event, the 16th Rozgar Mela, would be held at 47 locations nationwide. In the South-Central Railway zone, events will be held in Secunderabad, Guntur, and Guntakal. The recruitments were for Central departments like railways, home affairs, posts, health, financial services, and labour.

SCR Extends 26 Special Train Services Between Charlapalli And Tirupati Through August

HYDERABAD: The South-Central Railway (SCR) on Friday announced the extension of 26 special train services between Charlapalli and Tirupati next month. Eighteen services will run under Train No.s 07017/07018 on Fridays and Sundays (from Charlapalli) and Mondays and Saturdays (from Tirupati) between August 1 and August 30. Another eight services under Train No.s 07251/07252 will operate on Wednesdays (from Charlapalli) and Thursdays (from Tirupati) between August 6 and August 28.


Train No. 07017/07018 will stop at Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Umdanagar, Shadnagar, Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthi Road, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Ontimitta, Razampeta, and Renigunta.
Train No. 07251/07252 will stop at Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Nekkonda, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Sri Kalahasti, and Renigunta.
