Telangana HC Rejects Jana Sena Plea for Meeting Permission in Hyderabad

Court declines to hear house motion petition after police denial

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has rejected a house motion petition filed by the Jana Sena Party seeking permission to conduct a public meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The party approached the High Court after the Cyberabad Police denied permission for the meeting, which was planned in connection with Telangana State Formation Day celebrations.

However, the court registry refused to entertain the petition, stating that the matter did not warrant urgent hearing under a house motion petition.

Earlier, Jana Sena had applied to the Cyberabad Police seeking permission for the meeting, but the request was rejected citing various reasons. Challenging the decision, the party moved the High Court, where it faced a setback with the dismissal of its petition.
