Telangana Gurukul Students Meeting CM Revanth Reddy Reflects Government's Educational Success, Says Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar
"Poverty is never a barrier to excellence when students receive the right opportunities, quality education and government support”: Welfare minister Adluri Laxman Kumar

HYDERABAD: Welfare minister Adluri Laxman Kumar on Saturday said Gurukul students were becoming the state’s future brand ambassadors after TGSWREIS NEET achievers and athlete Sai Pravallika met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Pravallika was part of the Indian women’s 4x400 metres relay team that won gold at the inaugural Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships 2026 in Ordos, China. Laxman Kumar accompanied her and the NEET rankers during the meeting.
“Poverty is never a barrier to excellence when students receive the right opportunities, quality education and government support,” he said.
The minister credited the students’ achievements to the government’s education reforms, teachers’ commitment and parents’ trust. Gurukul institutions, he said, provided quality teaching, nutritious food, residential facilities, digital learning support and specialised coaching for NEET, JEE and the Civil Services.
“True social justice lies in helping children from economically disadvantaged families enter premier institutions and move into leadership roles,” he said. He said Telangana wanted its Gurukul system to become a national benchmark and treated every disadvantaged child’s dream as a public responsibility.
