Telangana Govt Transfers IAS Officers: G. Srijana, Vinay Krishna Reddy Posted to GHMC

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday issued orders effecting the transfer and posting of several IAS officers, including the appointment of new District Collectors for Nizamabad and Nalgonda. The government has also moved senior officials to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to helm key zones.

In the orders issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, Smt. G. Srijana (IAS 2013), previously the Director of PR & RD, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, GHMC. She will handle the Kukatpally, Serilingampally, and Qutbullapur zones.

Sri T. Vinay Krishna Reddy (IAS 2013), who was serving as the Collector of Nizamabad, has also been brought to the city administration. He is posted as Additional Commissioner, GHMC, for the Malkajgiri, L.B. Nagar, and Uppal zones.

District Collector Changes: Following Vinay Krishna Reddy's transfer, Smt. Ila Tripathi (IAS 2017), the District Collector of Nalgonda, has been transferred and posted as the new Collector & District Magistrate of Nizamabad.

Consequently, Sri Chandrashekar Badugu (IAS 2018), formerly the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) of Sangareddy, has been transferred and posted as the Collector & District Magistrate of Nalgonda, replacing Ila Tripathi.

Other Postings:

Smt. Shruti Ojha (IAS 2013), Director of WCD & SC, has been placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Director, PR & RD, relieving G. Srijana.

Sri Uma Shankar Prasad (IAS 2022), Sub-Collector, Tandur, has been placed in FAC of the post of Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Narayanapet.

The government also cancelled the earlier orders posting Sri Narayan Amit Malempati (IAS 2022) as Additional Collector (LB), Narayanapet.
