Telangana Governor appoints Justice Rajasheker Reddy as Lokayukta
Governor appointed Dr. Justice Shameem Akther as Chairperson of THRC

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma has appointed Justice A. Rajasheker Reddy, a former Judge of High Court, as Lokayukta of Telangana.
Justice Rajasheker Reddy shall hold the office for a term of five years from the date of his assumption of charge and he shall be a full time officer and will have the status of Chief Justice of a High Court during his tenure as Lokayukta.
The Governor appointed Justice B.S.Jag Jeevan Kumar, a former District and Sessions Judge, as Upa-Lokayukta, Institution of Lokayukta for five years from the date of his assumption of charge. Kumar shall have the status of the Judge of High Court status, during his tenure as Upa-Lokayukta.
The Governor has appointed Dr. Justice Shameem Akther, a retired Judge of High Court, as Chairperson of the Telangana Human Rights Commission (THRC) for a term of three years with effect from the date on which he assumes charge of his office or until he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
A retired IAS officer Dr. B.Kishore has been appointed as member (Non-Judicial) of THRC, for a term of three years with effect from the date of assumption of office or until he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
A retired selection grade district Judge Sivadi Praveena has been appointed as Member (Judicial) of THRC, for a term of three years with effect from the date of her assumption of office or until she attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
