Telangana Government Hikes MeeSeva Service Charges by 50%

Hyderabad: In a move that will impact citizens seeking essential government documents, the Telangana state government has announced a significant increase in user charges at MeeSeva centers across the state. Fees for all services have been hiked by approximately 50 percent.

Key Changes to Service Fees:

Essential Certificates: The fee for issuing income, caste, and nativity certificates has been increased to Rs. 80.

Birth Certificates: Citizens will now be required to pay Rs. 62 to obtain a birth certificate.

This price revision affects nearly all administrative services provided through the MeeSeva citizen-service portals, reflecting a notable increase in out-of-pocket costs for the general public seeking basic documentation.
