Telangana Formation Day: Drone Ban Imposed Around Secunderabad Parade Ground for CM’s Visit
Officials warned that any person violating the order would face legal action under relevant provisions of law.
Hyderabad:Ahead of Telangana Formation Day celebrations at Parade Ground, Secunderabad, on Tuesday, the Malkajgiri police have imposed a temporary ban on flying drones and other remotely controlled aerial devices to ensure security during the Chief Minister’s visit.
The notification, issued by Malkajgiri DCP Ch. Sridhar, stated that flying activities involving remotely controlled drones of any capacity, para-gliders and remotely controlled micro-light aircraft would not be permitted on June 2 from 12 noon to 2 pm in areas under Begumpet, Bowenpally and Marredpally police limits.
Officials warned that any person violating the order would face legal action under relevant provisions of law. The order has also been circulated to airport authorities, police stations, security agencies and media organisations for wider public awareness. The police urged citizens to cooperate and avoid operating aerial devices in the restricted zones during the event.
