Telangana: First State-Level Induction Training for New Nursing Officers
The director said the induction programme is designed to cover essential areas, including government service rules, CCA Rules, service matters, job responsibilities, Basic Life Support (CPR), patient safety and infection prevention.

Hyderabad: In a move to strengthen the quality of public healthcare services, the directorate of medical education on Wednesday launched its first state-level induction training programme for newly recruited nursing officers.
Inaugurating the programme, director of medical education Dr Narendra Kumar said, “A nursing officer is the first healthcare professional to receive a patient and the last to remain beside the patient.”
He stressed that nursing extends beyond clinical procedures and requires effective communication, emotional support, professionalism and unwavering dedication to patient welfare.

Assistant Director (Nursing) Vijaya Nirmala said the initiative would help develop competent, confident, disciplined and service-oriented professionals capable of delivering high-quality patient care while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
