Telangana: Father Kills Son After Family Dispute In Khammam
An argument broke out between Kiran and Sitaramulu on Saturday night: Police
NALGONDA: A 60-year-old man allegedly killed his son following an argument over a family issue at Ambedkar Nagar in Kalluru of Khammam district, police said on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Kothapalli Kiran, 35, a native of Kalluru. Police registered a case against his father, Sitaramulu, based on a complaint lodged by Kiran’s wife, Vijaya Lakshmi.
Police said an argument broke out between Kiran and Sitaramulu on Saturday night. Sitaramulu, who was allegedly drunk, attacked Kiran with a knife, causing injuries to his head. Kiran was shifted to the Primary Health Centre at Kalluru, where he died while undergoing treatment on Saturday morning. He is survived by his wife and two children. Sitaramulu fled after the incident, police said.
