A self-proclaimed godman, along with his aides, fled Narsingapur in Chandurthi mandal, after the locals complained about his deception to the police.

The villagers were shocked to see the godman visiting the devotees' houses riding on a horse. Reportedly, he used to send vulgar signals to women. His aides made the devotees believe that the 'guruji' could resolve all problems in their life and take money from them to conduct various pujas and rituals.

Previously, the godman and his accomplices also cheated the people in Venkatampalli, Acchannapalle villages in Vemulawada mandal. Reportedly, the godman's aides used to inform the devotees that the 'guruji' would visit their house and accordingly make arrangements, for a warm reception.

The villagers complained that the guruji cheated them promising to resolve various problems in their life through various rituals. However, their issues remained unresolved even after performing the puja.

Following the complaint, the police advised the villagers not to believe in 'babas' and 'gurus'. The cops asked the villagers to inform about suspicious individuals moving in their surroundings.
