She said investors could play a key role in building world‑class infrastructure and enhancing visitor experiences beyond Hyderabad.

Hyderabad:The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation is engaging with investors and industry leaders from the Indian diaspora in the United States to showcase the state’s untapped tourism potential ahead of the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 in Hyderabad this December.

Special Chief Secretary (Tourism) Vani Prasad highlighted opportunities across eight identified Special Tourism Areas, pointing to prospects in hospitality, attractions, museums, technology‑enabled visitor services and data‑driven solutions. She said investors could play a key role in building world‑class infrastructure and enhancing visitor experiences beyond Hyderabad.

Tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao said the state’s tourism policy aims to attract investments worth US$1.7 billion and generate about three lakh jobs. “Tourism can create livelihoods across age groups, genders and educational backgrounds, while offering opportunities for entrepreneurs. We are committed to developing Telangana as a globally recognised destination,” he said.
