Telangana Extends Indiramma Housing Application Deadline to August 15
The extension was announced in view of consecutive holidays, including the second Saturday and Bonalu, to ensure eligible beneficiaries do not miss the opportunity to apply.

Hyderabad: The state government late on Monday extended the deadline for applications under the Indiramma housing scheme by five days. Housing minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announcing that applications would now be accepted till August 15.
The extension was announced in view of consecutive holidays, including the second Saturday and Bonalu, to ensure eligible beneficiaries do not miss the opportunity to apply.
As of Monday evening, 46,121 applications had been received since the application process began on July 21. Applications are being accepted through MeeSeva centres, online and the MeeSeva WhatsApp service.
The government plans to construct one lakh houses within the Outer Ring Road limits of Hyderabad, covering all Assembly constituencies in the area. As part of the pilot project, 7,340 houses are being constructed across 16 constituencies.
Kukatpally recorded the highest number of applications at 6,615, followed by Quthbullapur (5,571) and Khairatabad (5,518). Maheshwaram recorded the lowest with 734 applications.
The minister directed housing department officials to make necessary arrangements for receiving applications during the extended period and ensure that the extension does not delay scrutiny, eligibility verification, allotment and the lottery process.
He instructed officials to complete the house allotment process by the end of August and assured applicants that allotments would be made transparently and impartially based on eligibility criteria.
