Telangana: DGP To Propose CM To Promote 37 DSP Rank Officers As SP

HYDERABAD: DGP C.V. Anand on Tuesday focused on the pending promotions of 37 DSP rank officers of 1991, 1995 and 1996 as additional SPs and said he would take the issue to the attention of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Some officers have approached the courts.
He said that after meeting him, the officers of the Warangal zone had stated that they would withdraw their cases.
Officers from the Hyderabad zone also expressed their positive attitude towards withdrawing of cases. With this, he said, the issue of promotions that been pending for years was likely to come through. The DSPs expressed their gratitude to Anand for moving the issue towards resolution.
